A Week in Arizona With Makenna 4/09

We met Daddy Chris at an outdoor cafe for lunch.
One of Makenna's favorite things to do....riding behind Daddy's bicycle

Away they go....

Out for dinner at PF Chang's, one of my favorite places. Love those snow peas! Makenna loved the chow too.

Makenna smiles but is reaching for Mommy.

Interested in the video games at the ice cream shop

At the soccer field Sunday morning

Riding the merry-go-round at Railroad Park

Ready to go....but she didn't stay on the horse for long!

Maria, Makenna, and Chris

Grandma, Maria, and Makenna riding the kid-size train around the park

A train car on display at the park. It was donated by the benefactor who provided the land for the park. The car was used by 4 presidents for traveling and campaigning: Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman, and Eisenhower.

A photo hanging inside the sitting room of the rail car

The rear of the car from which FDR campaigned.

Makenna getting a second look at the merry-go-round.

"Maybe I will try this again when I get bigger."

Smelling the flowers with Mommy

A little dirt on the seat of the pants....who cares!
Ready to move on.

Heading to church after a great afternoon at the park.

The blessing of palms on Palm Sunday before mass

Makenna playing grocery store

There she goes....

Here she comes....

And there she goes again.....

Off and running...time for bed

Packing around her puppy and a few other toys

Sometimes she rides backwards.

Her favorite stopping place in the living room. When she sits on the chair, it plays music. When she gets up and walks away, it tells her "bye-bye."

I had a great week. My only regret is not taking the camera when we visited the puppy store. Next time. She loves those puppies!
