Mario and I went to Red Rocks Amphitheatre just west of Denver on Wednesday and again on Saturday before we departed for home. The pictures don't do justice to the place. Next time I go to Colorado, I am going to get a schedule of performers and take in a concert there. We did have the opportunity to watch REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar doing soundchecks on one of the afternoons before the place was closed for an evening concert. But you don't have to attend a concert to appreciate the magnificence of Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Willie describes it as the best venue on earth at which to play. Well, that's enough recommendation for me! And I must mention the bison burgers on the cafe menu. Outstanding. Highly recommended!
