Sunday in Colorado-cont.

Mario and I had arrived in Colorado on Friday, spending the night in one of our "freebie" Comfort Inn rooms and awaiting the arrival of Chris, Maria, and Makenna at the Denver airport Saturday morning.  We found a great Mexican Restaurant for Mario called Sandia Friday night.   We picked up the new Chrysler rental van, well worth the extra bucks, and the Arizona Camachos, and off to Breckenridge we went.  The Dede gang arrived a couple of hours later on Saturday, so by evening, we were all moved in to our villas and ready for a wonderful week.   Mario made dinner, and the game room and pool provided activity for the remainder of the day Saturday.  On Sunday, we found the indoor toy store, checked out some shops on Main Street, waded in the coldwater creek that flows through the area, hiked up the mountain to Boreas Pass (a former railroad pass; I made it about halfway), saw the most vivid rainbow we've ever seen, and caught raindrops with our tongues.  Sunday night, Grandma organized a movie and popcorn for the kids while the grandpa, mommas, and pappas played poker. That game might have included Blake and his friend Cole, OR they might have been out about the town looking for girls....can't remember where they were at that time!  It was a great beginning to a great week.
