The day began with Bible study--the lesson focusing on staying connected to God through trials and persecution and The Kingdom will be ours. So reassuring. That is stated so many times in the Bible. I believe it!!!
Got my hair cut today. Only my 3rd haircut since I had no hair. I really like Amy; she is Carrie's stylist. I got specific about what I wanted, and she cut it just how I wanted it. Ya just feel better when ya get a haircut ya like.
Had lunch today with Carolyn's friend Justine Bruce, who has moved to Quincy with her husband Tim. He heads up Quincy's UPS, and she will be looking for just the right preschool in which to share her considerable talent. We talked for 1 1/2 hours about kids, husbands, economy (didn't stay on that too long), and many other things. This will be a good friendship for me. I have arranged for two friends who are also her neighbors to take her to lunch next week; of course I will join them. Then I will show Justine around the town.
I love this beautiful fall weather. Good for jeans and flip flops. My favorite wardrobe pieces.
Please remember Stephanie Bowman in your prayers. She had her surgery today. I do not have any information on how things went, but will try by this time tomorrow.
