Today I am getting stuff ready for the TEC weekend. Also I am going to Hannah's first grade classroom to assist her in an art project. I think Carrie said we are making apple people. Tonight is the kick-off mass for the TEC and getting the building ready for the weekend. I also hope I can see some of our college buddies who have come to Quincy for Alumni/Homecoming Weekend. I will miss seeing Bailey in the Routt Homecoming festivites this weekend. She is on the court, and I am sure she will have a great time for her senior homecoming. She is blossoming (if that's not too old-fashioned a word) into a wonderful young woman. I am looking forward to watching her use her God-given talent. She's received a couple of awards/recognition already at school. I wish I could be there to see her. Well, I will have to make do with the pictures. Chris is in San Francisco this weekend for a finance summit for solar technology. Actually, the conference is yesterday and today. Maria and Makenna flew in last night to join him. He is hoping to learn more about how to invest venture capital in energy solutions. (I may or may not have that right. I am trying to listen well when he describes what he's doing.) Fall has arrived and I love it. I did see the temp will reach 80 this weekend. So don't put the shorts and capris away just yet. Happy weekend to all.
