Growing in Faith?

As Advent begins, I would like to suggest a website that will help you grow your faith, as well as entertain you from time to time.

This is the website of Fr. Daren Zehnle, a young priest from our diocese, now serving as the parochial vicar at St. Anthony's in Effingham. He does a lot of research for his homilies and other posts, and I learn so much from reading them. And now he has a podcast...you just click on it and listen to him speak.

He is a remarkable young man. I have known him since he was in high school; he grew up in this area and was involved in TEC. When Mario and I directed a TEC, he was our Wheat Team director. He showed so much spiritual leadership and understanding at a very young age, yet was, at the same time, totally a kid with the other kids. He still has a great connection with young people. In fact, I believe that is his greatest talent--being able to connect with teenagers. He writes beautifully and speaks eloquently. How God has gifted him. And he uses his gifts well.
