Family Together

Chris, Maria, and Makenna arrived this afternoon. The Dede gang came at 5, and I am glad I did the traditional home-cooked meal today. Tomorrow we'll have the leftover chicken pie and open presents. The kids had a great time playing with Makenna, especially Nolan, who was the most interactive with her. There was an evening of cards, but I mostly played with Makenna and Nolan. Cora and Hannah painted with watercolors. Blake drove the new wheels to show Uncle, had dinner, and hit the road with the buddies. It was a good day.
