Carolyn's Final Report for Sunday

A great day on the Mall, a great day to be an American. The group had a fabulous time at the concert with thousands of fellow Americans. They went to Arlington early in the day, but missed the Tomb of the Unknown because Barack and Joe were there. They did see the Kennedy graves and many government buildings before going to the Holocaust Museum. Had quite an experience there with a VIP tour arranged by a Holocaust survivor who is on the Obama team. Were very moved. Now they are heading back to the University for dinner and sleep and will hit the town again tomorrow. It's great to hear from someone who is there.

Chris attended the Phoenix Cardinals game today. What a great game to see. Mr. Bidwell is on the GPEC Board, so Chris knows him and is able to attend some games. Will be fun to cheer them on in the Super Bowl. We will go to Tom Pollihan's in St. Louis again this year. He and brother Bob played soccer with Mario at QU.

Looking forward to the arrival of Cora and Hannah. They are spending the night and we are making Grandma's good recipe chocolate chip cookies. yum!
