On the Move Again

Finally today I rejoined the world...took myself out for a bowl of soup and shopping for a few groceries, as well as to CVS to finish developing the Christmas pictures. I had some pictures stored on the internal memory of my camera because I forgot to put the memory card in, so those were fun to look at for the first time. Had forgotten they were there. I am still weak in my throat, the place it always hits me the hardest when I go through something. In fact, it kinda hurts to talk. Tonight I did go to my breast cancer survivors' party meeting. Had a great meal of veggie lasagna and salad. Listened to a speaker talk about how many people donate to our hospital, especially to the cancer center, and that enables programs like what I get to go to every month. I like this one because we don't really talk much about our cancer experiences. It's more like a celebration each month. And there is always somebody interesting and relevant to listen to. Tomorrow I hope to get to Bible Study in the morning and meet Justine and a couple other friends for lunch. I haven't seen the grandkids since Christmas, so I am needing to get over there. I still don't want them to come here in case any of that germ is still alive here. And how about that sister--Carolyn, the Admissions Director at the Illinois School for the Deaf, is getting up close and personal for the Inauguration with 20 of her students from ISD! It's a wonderful world sometimes. What an impression for these young people--a lifelong memory. And in the beginning, Carolyn made it all possible with her insightful thinking. YEH! Can't wait to see photos and hear stories. And Jack gets to go too. Great experience for all.

I want to give credit to Fr. Daren Zehnle for the previous photo of Jesus in the manger with the monetary gift left by someone. That happened at St. Anthony's in Effingham. Also, there are a couple of great YOU TUBE videos on his blog that will amuse. I think his address is servantandsteward.org.
