In the midst of recovering from the ferocious flu, and on the third day of it I can say it is still wreaking havoc in its own way, I am enjoying listening to IL DIVO's Christmas CD. If you want to listen to some prayerful, delightful music, this is it! It isn't best suited for the car stereo. You need quiet and peace. Or I should say you need quiet, and it will bring peace to your soul. If you have been reading my blog for awhile, you know about the book title I saw sometime in early December...."The Seven Things You need to Nail Down Before All Hell Breaks Loose." Well I have thought for quite awhile about these last two. They are absolutely THE TWO I must nail down!
***God gave me only one life to live. It is my life and not somebody else's. I must live my own life and constantly develop the abilities God gave me. When I meet God face to face and am asked "What did you do with what I gave you?", I want to be able to firmly say, "I gave it all for YOU."
***Know Jesus. The most important way to The Truth. The Truth sets me free. This is easy to do. Just open my heart and let Him in, and make room for Him to stay.
There. I think I have my seven things I must nail down before all hell breaks loose! I would be interested to hear if anyone has anything to add to the list, because I don't feel I must limit myself to 7, even if 7 is a significant biblical number. :o)
