Today I am thinking of the messages of three homilies that were delivered in various churches yesterday. I have not read Fr. Daren's yet, so I am sure there will be something else profound to contemplate from his as well.
I want to remember these messages, so I document...
1. The Lord loves a cheerful giver
2. Don't let anyone steal your joy. The devil is alive and well in the world trying to get that done in various ways. The scriptures clearly state that we are to live joyfully. So don't let anyone, no matter who they are, take that from you, even for a moment!
3. Do you want VICTORY in your life? Not victory on the playing field or on the gambling table. VICTORY that earns you something eternal. Are you living in a way that will win that for you?
